Mandalas Painted on Wood

Painting mandalas on wooden discs allows for such a versatile range of sizes.  I cut my own discs, so any size is possible (within reason).

The smooth surface produces perfect 'dots' and 'swooshes' and the finished product is breathtaking. 

Each mandala is finished with 3 coats of satin topcoat to protect the piece and is easily cleaned by wiping over with a damp cloth.

I also add a claw hook to the back to allow for ease of mounting.
